Experience
Hannah's first job was working as an usher in her small home town cinema, and she's been finding ways to get paid for watching movies ever since. After starting out as a contributor for Bleeding Cool, she began writing for Screen Rant in 2013 and was later promoted to a junior editor role before becoming the site's first features editor. Hannah wrote her undergraduate dissertation on the haunted houses of the horror genre, a choice that has proven particularly useful since Netflix decided to launch an entire mini-franchise of horror shows about haunted houses. In addition to loving all things creepy and spooky, Hannah is also interested in the business side of the film industry, and regularly breaks down the latest weekend box office news for /Film.
Education
Hannah has a bachelor's degree in English with Study in North America, having spent two years at the University of Exeter and one year on exchange at the University of Toronto; after leaving university, she studied filmmaking on a diploma course at New York Film Academy.
